With our own Achievement Awards based on our own FOCUS Values, children are recognised not only for skills learned but also behaviour and attitude to learning, building their confidence and keeping them engaged.
The next stage of development through learning with swim focus is to concentrate on your child's development through the Swim England Duckling Awards These awards are designed to help with confidence and movement through the water.
The Learn to Swim Stage 1-7 Awards are divided into progressive stages. They make up the core, national syllabus of learning to swim for primary school aged children. Designed to reward your child for their development of the essential skills they need to be confident, competent and safe in the water. Each stage has a list of clear outcomes that need to be completed in order to gain each Award.
.
.The Swim England Rainbow Distance Awards are designed to complement the different stages of the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme. They are designed to keep your child motivated while working through the individual Learn to Swim stages. The Rainbow Distance Awards are aimed at swimmers of five years and older and are designed to demonstrate the pupils’ ability to swim from A to B without pause and without stress. They are a great way to give swimmers the incentive to develop their swimming abilities and stamina by gradually increasing the distance they can swim.

Water Safety 3 Award On completing this third and final Water Safety Award your child will fully understand how to perform safe self-rescue in different open and pool-based water situations, and what to do if they fall into water unexpectedly
