Swim England launch their ~loveswimming campaign
Research from Swim England has found that more than 70% of children are taken out of lessons before they have learnt key skills that ensure they are safe in the water. These competencies are part of the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme:
- Swim 100m without stopping
- Tread water for at least 30 seconds
- Float for at least 60 seconds
- Swim in clothes

Swim England launch campaign to get more adults learning to swim
Research by Swim England has found that more than half of adults admit that it feels intimidating to learn to swim. Their new campaign aims to dispel the myths and stigma around learning to, or improving your swimming ability, as an adult. Click here to read.
